Gosh Darn Good Cakes and Pies is a culmination of several generations of professional bakers and designers with a passion for desserts. Whether it is key lime pie, peanut butter fudge, rich bundt cakes or lavishly decorated wedding cakes, we make sure everything is up to not just good, but "gosh darn good" standards.
Gosh Darn Good Decorator, Hope Engel, specializes in fancy cakes, and has spent years finding just the right buttercream and whip cream. She especially loves combining the clever art of chocolate and has over fifty chocolate candy molds to date. Her mother, a professional cake decorator, taught her the art of sweets, and passed down her favorite "very good" recipes.
With a Bachelor in Fine Arts, Hope uses her skill as a floral designer to make her cakes look visually appealing as well as great tasting.
